I would like to learn more about the murder of JFK. What i know is that it was done by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald. It was done inside of the building were Lee Harvey Oswald worked. It was done from the third floor and JFK was hit in the back of the neck. I think that it was more then just Lee Harvey Oswald that came up with killing the President.
If possible could you send me a letter back explaing what you understand of the murder and weather you think Lee Harvey Oswald was a lone gunman.

JFK Space Race
The JFK space race was to see who could make it onto the moon first, between russia and the united states. I think it was an ok idea but i dont think that there had to be a race in order to see who could get on the moon first. We could have used the resources differently but in general i think that the united states did well in the space race.
If we just went to the moon because it was there then that means we didn't have any research or need in mind. it is kinda like eating food when it is there. It is not that you are hungry it is just that it is there. I think the next thing we should focus on is things that will help the united states.

1. The war on terror started when Al'Queada flew two planes into the twin towers and one plane into the pentagon. This all happened on september 11, 2001. This was the trigger to starting the war on terror.
2. I think that Bill Clinton is better then George H. W. Bush because he was able to do what he said he was going to. George H. W. said he wasn't going to raise taxes but he endedup doing just that. When President H. W. Bush was in office there was a economic reccesion. The reccesion may have cost the presidency for him to Bill clinton.
I think Bill clinton is better then George W. Bush because George W. Bush has kept the troops over in Iraq for to long. There is a reccesion going on right now during his presidency. W. Bush put in that no child left behind act. I dont think it is bad but i think it could made better in order to help kids more. during Bill clintons presidency there were a few personal issues but he still may have been better.

The book that I am doing for my book portfolio is Twenty and Ten by Claire Hutchet Bishop. The theme in this book is that courage can be found in more places then just up high were only few sit. This theme is relevant to history because during wars there are men and women that are your everyday people and they are going out to fight.
The theme of this book is courage can be found in more places then just really high places were few sit. In this book a lady named sister Gabriel got asked by this guy to take care of these Jewish kids and make sure the Nazi’s didn’t find them. Then sister Gabriel went to town and she went to jail and they interrogated her about were the Jewish children were. The significance is that the lady had courage in order to hide those kids from the Nazi’s.
In world war II there were people going over and fighting that were not major known people all across the country. There were people being drafted who were ordinary people and weren’t considered hero’s. Some people were courageous during hard times in the war and they weren’t big city officials or big celebrities. Courage is needed in order to be able to function correctly in hard times like that. The theme courage is found in more places then just high sitting positions or titles is relevant to history because there have been many accounts were ordinary people have displayed huge amounts of courage.
My point of view on this theme is that it is true that courage can be found just about anywhere. I have heard about stories of children doing things to help others and even animals doing things that have saved someone’s life. Even just when I see people doing like really big presentations especially when the person that is doing it doesn’t like to talk in front of big crowds of people. Courage also doesn’t have to just be someone doing something that gets recognized all around the world. Example of it can be found anywhere look at Rosa Parks. She had the courage to stand up and say that she wasn’t going to sit on the back of the bus and she wanted freedoms just like whites.

The Legislative Branch is the branch of government which has congress and the branch comes up with laws and proposes them to the other two branches of government. The legislative branch also votes on presidents ideas like tax cuts and energy plans. The executive branch is the branch of government with the president. The executive branch enforces the laws that are voted in. Then the judicial branch of government. The judicial branch punishes when the laws that are made by the legislative branch and enforced by the executive branch are broken. all the branches have a power to veto one anothers ideas or laws as that way one person doesn't get to much power.

The prsidency of George Washington related to the birth of political parties because when he was running for president the were federalists and antifederalists. After the presidency of George Washington there came the democratic republicans. The first significant parties were Federalists and Antifederalists. The Federalists were for the new government and the Antifederalists weren't.

The Articles of Confederation failed as our first constitution because it didn't establish a good government that which is what the country needed after the revolutionary war. There should have been some type of government in order to keep from anarchy happening and rebellion. That is one area were it failed and a thing called Shay's Rebellion happened and it was because they didn't like the way the government was at the time.
The goal of the founding fathers during the constitutional convention was to build a better government and make it so there would be a leader. There were a few problems though because if they had a leader there would be a possibility that they would get greedy. But there was a man who came up with an idea to help stop that from happening. The idea was that there would be three branches of government Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. They would have the power to veto each other if they didn't think that something was a good idea.
