Richard Nixon's Resignation
Was the Watergate Scandal during Richard Nixon's Presidency really What got him to resign. 5 people got convicted of breaking in to the Watergate Hotel and that hotel was also the democratic headquarters. The people were not really thought all that much about in press and public media. The people worked for Richard Nixon on his committe for re-election. This revealed Richard Nixons 'Dirty Tricks Squad' Which Nixon denied having. So it wan't just the Watergate Scandal alone that got him up for impeachment. It was most likely the fact that Nixon abused his power as president of the United States.

The food stamp program was first started in 1939. It is to help feed people who have little or no money in the united states. In 1964 Lyndon B. Johnson asked for the food stamp program to become permanent.
I think it is an alright idea it helps people in the united states survive. I think there is just one problem. It is that people dont have to work for what they eat or what they need to survive. Some people do need that because they work and they still cant make enough but some people that dont work and are very capable of working dont do anything because in a way they dont need to because they get what they need from the government.

1. Technology changed history in the 50's and 60's because people were able to record important events in history. A few examples from that are when the monk monk burned himself in protest. Another is the assasination of John F. Kennedy. The assasination was caught on tape by a by spectator in the crowd who had a video recorder. It was able to show how JFK was hit and what happened after he was hit.
2. Martin luther king Jr. was a peaceful civil rights leader he did not want violence to come from it. Huey newton was a little more violent in his leadership role he encouraged members of the black panthers to exercise there right to bear arms. Malcom X was i violent leader too. He was upset about the way black people were treated and he joined the civil rights movement.
3. Tey had a competition over who had more missles, it was called the missle gap it was an arms race. The united states and the soviet union had a competition to see who could launch the first satilite and who could put a man on the moon first . The soviet union was the first to launch a satilite but the untied staes was first to put a man on the moon.
